Educate and Inspire
We will introduce you to some of Florida’s most inspiring and creative leaders, national experts on the economy, as well as the best of Leadership Florida’s class programs. Just a few of our confirmed speakers are:
Honorable David Walker, founder/CEO of the Comeback America initiative, the mission for which is "to promote fiscal responsibility and sustainability by engaging the public and assisting key policymakers on a non-partisan basis in order to achieve solutions to America's fiscal imbalances." Walker is also the former United States Comptroller General and head of the Governmental Accountability Office and a founder of No Labels.
Brad Meltzer, bestselling author, host of the History Channel’s Decoded, and co-founder of CityYear Miami. Meltzer, author of thrillers and mysteries on the best seller list, also wrote the acclaimed Heroes for My Son; his newest book, Heroes for My Daughter, will be launched at our Annual Meeting!
Chris Licht is vice president of programming for CBS News and co-creator and former executive producer of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” Leadership Florida’s “Type A’s” can greatly benefit by hearing Licht talk about the experiences that led to his writing, “What I Learned When I Almost Died …How a Maniac TV Producer Put Down His Blackberry and Started to Live His Life,” after suffering a near-fatal brain aneurysm at 38.
