Biography
Lacey Hofmeyer serves Broward College as its General Counsel and Vice President of Public Policy and Government Affairs. She is responsible for providing legal, compliance, and strategic advice to the College, its President and Board, She also leads the College's legislative and public policy efforts at all levels of government. Prior to joining Broward College, Lacey was in private practice for nearly 12 years as civil and commercial litigator at the international law firm of Greenberg Traurig in Miami. She holds Economics and Accounting degrees from UNC Greensboro, summa cum laude, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, cum laude. Lacey is married to Maj. Erik Hofmeyer and has three children: Greta (8), Aksel (7), and Teddy (4). Lacey is committed to her faith, and has been a long-time member of Granada Presbyterian Church in Coral Gables, Florida. She enjoys reading, podcasts, movies and streaming, skiing, road trips, and state parks.
