Lessons We Have Learned and Are Learning from the COVID-19 Pandemic
TIME 8:4O AM
We kick off Saturday morning with a panel discussion from a diverse group of education leaders from across the state sharing the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Florida’s schools. We will review the results of the ongoing research at the UF Lastinger Center, which highlights the importance of taking a trauma-informed approach to resume schooling, effective professional learning supports for teachers, effective communication approaches with families and communities, disparities in broadband connectivity, and the unique circumstances faced by early learning programs across the state. Our panel of experts will share their perspectives on the challenges, decisions, and leadership lessons that they have learned during this crisis.
