Biography
Alaina infuses her deep-seated passion for education and community involvement to enrich the educational landscape in Okeechobee County, as she believes in the power of collective impact to transform education. Her strategic leadership guides this nonprofit in enhancing educational experiences and broadening opportunities for teachers and students.
Alaina has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Florida Atlantic University and a master’s in teaching and learning from Nova Southeastern University. She has over a decade of experience in education, with the majority of her career devoted to teaching Okeechobee's students.
As a self-proclaimed sports mom and coffee enthusiast, Alaina spends her downtime taking her daughter to various sports and activities, always with an iced coffee in hand. She enjoys Crossfit, shopping, and traveling with her husband, David. Alaina exemplifies committed leadership, education advocacy, and engaged community involvement.
