Biography
Albie Kaminsky is an experienced, strategic, and accomplished government affairs professional dedicated to making a meaningful impact in his industry and community. He currently serves as Senior Director, State Government Affairs for Charter Communications (Spectrum) in Florida, a role he ascended into serving in local and legislative roles within the company. This role includes leading a team of employees and contract lobbyists across multiple jurisdictions to advance the company’s overall objectives at a state and local level, while managing budgets, events, and cross-functional projects that support the business’ growth strategies.

Before joining Spectrum in 2018, Albie served as a Legislative Aide to three members of the Florida House of Representatives over the course of five years including now Senators Jim Boyd and Jay Trumbull. In these roles he mastered issues related to Florida’s regulated industries, programs that enhance economic development, and policies that impact Florida’s finance & tax structure.

He was honored by the News Service of Florida as a 2024 Impact Award Winner and named one of the top 40 Under 40 professionals by both the Business Observer and Tampa Bay Business Journal. Additionally, he was recognized by and by Influence Magazine as a Rising Star in Florida Politics.

Albie lives in St. Petersburg with his wife, Angela. Within the local community, Albie serves on the Board of Directors for the Associated Industries of Florida, St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce, and the Boys & Girls Club of the Suncoast. He also served on Leadership Florida's West Central Regional Council.

Albie has received two degrees from the University of Florida, Bachelors in Finance, (BSBA 2013) & Masters in Business Administration, (MBA 2016). Upon graduation, Florida Blue Key recognized Albie as the organization’s Most Outstanding 2013 Graduate in 2014 and he was later inducted into University of Florida Hall of Fame.
