Biography

April Donahue is the Executive Director of Collier County Medical Society (Naples, FL), Managing Director of Miami-Dade County Medical Association, and Managing Director of Broward County Medical Association (Ft. Lauderdale). April is a graduate of DePauw University, the American Association of Medical Society Executives (AAMSE) Leadership Academy, the Physicians Foundation Leadership Academy at Kellogg School of Business, Leadership Florida, and Leadership Collier. She is a member of the AAMSE Leadership Committee, a past AAMSE board member, past chair of the Conference of Florida Medical Society Executives, and past board member of the Florida Medical Association and FMA PAC. She is a recognized AAMSE fellow and has received honors including the FMA 2025 Certificate of Appreciation award, Naples Illustrated “Naples 100” top business leader, Leadership Collier Foundation Volunteer of the Year, and Gulfshore Business magazine’s Southwest Florida “40 under 40”. April is also on the board of the Physician Led Access Network of Collier County and is a healthcare session committee member for Youth Leadership Collier.
