Biography
A native Floridian, Becki began her career in education as a teacher for Duval County Public Schools where she was selected as a top 15 semifinalist for Duval County Teacher of the Year. She served on the Duval County School Board from 2010-2018 and held numerous leadership positions including on the Board of Directors for the Jacksonville Public Education Fund and as treasurer of the Florida School Boards Association.
She later worked as an instructional specialist where she created and managed Early College Education Academies to provide high school students the opportunity to earn a degree with a focus in education and a pipeline of future talent.
Becki holds a bachelor’s degree from UNF and a master’s degree in education leadership from the American College of Education. She and her husband James are the proud parents of two sons, Noah and Levi. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and serving the community.
