Biography
Cindy Caldwell is the Senior Director of Academic Programming at Pace Center for Girls, Inc., where she leads data-informed initiatives that strengthen teaching and student growth through trauma-informed, gender-responsive, and strengths-based practices. With over 20 years in K–12 education, she specializes in teacher development, instructional leadership, and fostering safe, supportive learning environments.
Before joining Pace, Cindy worked nationally with an education research nonprofit, monitoring federally funded Charter School Program grantees and supporting state education agencies and local education agencies to advance teacher pipelines, teacher evaluation systems, induction programs, and school safety initiatives. Earlier, she spent 20 years in Miami-Dade County Public Schools as an educator, federal grant project director, and as executive director, leading professional learning, new teacher induction, and Grow Your Own programs.
Cindy holds a degree in Education, completed graduate studies in Urban Education, and is a National School Reform Faculty Critical Friend Coach. She also serves on First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FCHCC) and the U.S. Department of Education’s Effective Educator Development Advisory Council.
