Biography
Courtney started her career with Manatee County in 2022 and has a combined 16 years of experience working for federal and local government and the private sector. She has a B.S. in civil engineering from Vanderbilt University and an M.S. in engineering management from Penn State. She is a licensed professional engineer in Texas and Florida.

Courtney is a member of the Leadership Board of the Chamber of Commerce's Manatee Young Professionals, the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation board, and the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance board. In 2024, the Chamber of Commerce named Courtney the Manatee Young Professional of the Year in the government/non-profit category, and she received the Next Gen Young Leaders Award from the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance. In 2022, the Business Observer of Southwest Florida named her a Top 40 Under 40.

She is the proud wife of a former Navy pilot and mother to two young girls.
