Biography

Pedro Gassant is a husband to Makeba, a wonderful woman and a father of three amazing young boys, Evan, Frederick, and Gregory who are 8, 7 and 4. He is the son of two Haitian immigrants who fled a dictatorship to provide their children with a better future and is constantly seeking to make them proud because of their sacrifice. Pedro is a land use and zoning attorney who enjoys solving problems that provide tangible benefits to people and firmly believe that more development is good as it provides jobs, homes, and places of social interaction. He is an avid reader whose favorite authors are Colson Whitehead and Malcolm Gladwell. He reads the incredible adventures of Captain Underpants and Ricky Ricotta and the Mighty Robot every night to his two young boys. He loves his God, his family, and his community.
