Biography
Elisha González is an Educator and Public Affairs Executive who has been a positive agent for change throughout her professional career. González is a connector and relationship builder who has long been recognized for her leadership, business acumen and commitment to community. Elisha has served in leadership roles with Orange County Public Schools, the U.S. Senate, Valencia College, Duke Energy and currently serves at FAIRWINDS Credit Union as senior vice president overseeing government affairs, community relations, public relations, philanthropy, corporate giving and community partnerships. She also serves as the executive director of the nonprofit FAIRWINDS Foundation, where she leads the effort to bolster organizations that advocate financial literacy, education and volunteerism by working with FAIRWINDS team in community outreach. González has been instrumental in the new, unified vision for the FAIRWINDS Foundation that wants to help the communities reach economic prosperity through financial literacy. She is renowned for her expertise in supporting both for-profit and nonprofit sectors, and her work building partnerships between industry and nonprofits in Florida has established her as a key influencer. Elisha is dedicated to improving the region through education and has served on several statewide boards and committees appointed by Florida governors. She currently serves on the boards of the Florida Chamber Foundation, United Arts of Central Florida, Junior Achievement of Central Florida, Florida Citrus Sports, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando and Prospera USA.
