Biography
Elizabeth has always felt called to education. While working as a Student Assistant in her university’s financial aid office, she discovered a passion for student affairs, prompting earning a master’s in Student Personnel Services. After a decade in student financial aid, she found her home at Hillsborough Community College (HCC) as a Faculty Counselor, where she supports student success, advises clubs, and engages with the campus and community.

Remaining rooted in faculty work, Elizabeth stepped into union leadership - first as a campus steward, then on the state level with the United Faculty of Florida (UFF), and later serving four years as HCC’s faculty union president. She now chairs UFF’s Leadership, Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity Committee.

A former Naval Reserve Officer, Elizabeth holds a B.S. from West Chester University, an M.A. in Student Affairs from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Higher Education Leadership from the University of South Florida. She lives in Hillsborough County with her husband Philippe and their daughter.
