Biography
Ellice Martinez joined HCA Florida Healthcare's East Florida Division as the Assistant Vice President of Community Engagement. In this role, Ellice directs and manages all division-wide community engagement strategies, with the goal of furthering HCA Florida Healthcare's reputation in the Southeast region and deepening the company's community partnerships. Since joining HCA Florida Healthcare, Ellice has established a strategic path for the company's giving and has secured just over $4 million in local philanthropic support since May 2021.
Prior to joining HCA Florida Healthcare, Ellice worked for Broward College, where she held several leadership positions in development and community partnerships over the past 13 years. Most recently, Ellice served as the college's Associate Vice President of Community Partnerships and Institutional Events, overseeing the execution and implementation of all major partnerships.
During her time at Broward College, Ellice was instrumental in securing two $2 million partnerships and a $1 million gift to the Broward College Foundation. She also drove the institution's first-ever comprehensive fundraising initiative. Ellice has spearheaded events that have raised more than $3 million for Broward College. She has also organized high-impact community events, including Gubernatorial and Senatorial debates and visits from dignitaries such as the Dalai Lama, Michelle Obama, and Joe Biden.
Ellice received her Master's Degree in Higher Education Leadership and Administration from Kaplan University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Holocaust and Judaic Studies from Florida Atlantic University.
She graduated from Leadership Florida's Connect Class 10 and is a current board member of the Palm Beach State College Foundation, 211 Broward, and Leadership Florida.
