Biography
Erin leads a team of professionals to shape the strategic direction of group sales, media relations/placement, communication, research, and intellectual property management for Visit Sarasota County. She previously served as a special events and marketing coordinator for the City of Casselberry (1999 – 2000), director of marketing and communications for United Way of Manatee County (2000 – 2004), community relations manager for the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County (2004 – 2005) and public relations manager for Visit Sarasota County (2005).
Erin served as the Junior League of Sarasota president (2017 – 2018), where she has been a member since 2001. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Community Foundation (Sarasota) and the Lakewood Ranch Community Activities Association and is an active volunteer at her children’s schools.
Erin has a B.S. in communications arts from Florida Southern College. In 2012, she earned her certification in destination management executive credential, a program through Purdue University and Destinations International.
