Biography
Isabel focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions. She previously served as associate general counsel at FIU. She is co-chair of Holland & Knight’s Hispanic Affinity Group and was recently acknowledged in The Best Lawyers in America guide, Real Estate Law (2024). Her most rewarding community involvement includes her prior service as the co-chair of the Cuban American Bar Association Pro Bono project, where she played a significant role in increasing the provision of legal services to those less fortunate, as well as her prior role as a Guardian Ad Litem volunteer.
Isabel earned her bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in political science from FIU, and her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.
Isabel and her husband, Ernie, a Miami-Dade County Police Officer, are the proud parents of two amazing young men, Ernie and Jorgie. Isabel thoroughly enjoys watching her sons play baseball and cheering for them from the stands!
