Biography
Jen Halter is Florida's 2021 Principal of the Year! Jen currently serves as the Principal of Clay High School for the Clay County School District. She has 17 years of experience in education, first teaching English Language Arts for eight years, before transitioning into leadership as an administrator. Jen holds a B.A. in English from Florida State University, an M.Ed. from the University of North Florida, and is pursuing a Doctoral Degree from the University of North Florida in Educational Leadership. She believes in championing public education through serving as the Florida Representative for all Secondary School Principals for the National Association of School Administrators and the Florida Association of School Administrators.
