Biography
In his current role, Lance oversees the association’s membership and recruitment efforts and all legislative and political operations while working directly with its Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Prior to leading AFCD, Lance served as assistant director of state legislative affairs for the Florida Farm Bureau Federation, leading lobbying and communication efforts on legislative and political issues relating to agriculture.
In his personal time, Lance serves as a deacon at First Baptist Church of Tallahassee and on the Board of Directors of several local nonprofits and statewide associations. He enjoys attending Florida State sporting events with his family and coaching his sons’ baseball teams.
Lance received his B.S. in political science from Troy University in 2008 and his MPA from Troy University in 2010. He lives in Tallahassee with his wife Lindsay and three children, Park (11), Kullen (8) and Palmer (5).
