Biography
Leroy was born and raised in West Palm Beach. In his current role, he provides instructional leadership and support for teachers to improve classroom instruction and facilitate growth as highly effective educators. He previously served as the dean of students at Renaissance Charter School at Summit for three and a half years and has experience as a second-grade teacher.
Leroy is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and a member of the New Leaders Council Palm Beach, a non-profit organization that trains and supports progressive leaders to create positive change in their communities.
He holds an M.Ed. in educational leadership and administration from the American College of Education and a Bachelor of Public Management degree from Florida Atlantic University. He is a very proud father to a three-year-old son and enjoys traveling, running, fishing, and serving his community.
