Biography
Originally from Cali, Colombia, Monica Hernández moved to the U.S. at age 11 and has called Jacksonville home since 2005. She is Vice President of Asset Services Control within Global Markets Operations at Bank of America, where she also serves on the Global Diversity & Inclusion Board and co-chairs HOLA, the Hispanic Organization for Leadership & Advancement.

Her career began at Deutsche Bank, where she held leadership roles in structured finance and securities lending. Monica is known for driving performance, mentoring others, and advancing inclusion initiatives. She earned a BBA in International Business from the University of North Florida and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Nova Southeastern University, along with a certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard.

As President of the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Monica led the organization to win Small Chamber of the Year in both 2019 and 2024. She has received numerous accolades including the Ultimate CEO and Woman of Influence awards. Monica is bilingual, a Leadership Jacksonville alum, and passionate about fitness, travel, and community impact.
