Biography
Dr. Nicole Kirchhoff is a pioneering aquaculture scientist, entrepreneur, and international leader in hatchery production, research, and innovation. She holds a Ph.D. in Aquatic Animal Health from the University of Tasmania and is the founder and CEO of Live Advantage Bait, the first and only commercial warm-water marine bait and food fish hatchery in the U.S., serving customers across the U.S., South America, and the Caribbean. For over a decade, she has developed new species, secured FDA approval for a spawning implant, and created tools to improve fish health and hatchery success.
Raised in Jupiter, Florida, and having spent five years in Tasmania, Australia, Nicole brings a global perspective to sustainable aquaculture. She has secured over $3 million in grants for aquaculture development, innovation, and food security, earning recognition as a Hatchery International Top 10 Under 40 honoree.
Nicole is a passionate community leader, having served on the Florida Farm Bureau Board, American Water Security Project, and Young Friends of the Historical Society. A wife, mother of three under 8, lifelong learner, outdoor enthusiast, and mentor, she brings heart, clarity, and action to every endeavor.
