Biography
In her current role, Nika oversees all academic disciplines across a multi-campus system, including workforce training, certificate, associate, and baccalaureate degree programs.
An Aspen Rising presidential fellow with almost 30 years of experience in education, Nika is dedicated to improving educational quality for all students. Her previous roles include professor, chair, dean of academic affairs and student services, and provost. Her expertise includes strategic planning, curriculum programming, resource development, fiscal management, grants oversight, and team building. A visionary leader, she led initiatives that culminated in community partnerships between the college, school district, businesses, and municipalities.
Nika serves her community through a host of board appointments, including Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, YWCA Palm Beach County, and Palm Beach County School District Advisory Board. She has been recognized for her leadership as a participant in Leadership Palm Beach County and the State of Florida Chancellor's Leadership programs. She also served as president of the Association of Florida Colleges.
Nika attended FAU where she earned her B.A., MPA, Ed.S., and Ed.D. degrees.
