Biography
Noemi was born in Immokalee as one of nine children. From these humble beginnings, she has risen to be the president and CEO of The Immokalee Foundation. Since its inception, this educational non-profit has served over 15,000 students from kindergarten to graduate-level college with an annual budget of over $5 million.
Noemi began her career with The Immokalee Foundation in 2008. Her hard work and dedication were recognized, and soon, she joined the organization's management. In 2018, she became president and CEO. She knew her students needed clear pathways to professions, and she led the development of the innovative Career Pathways program. It is very successful, with 100% high school graduation and 100% entering a postsecondary program, the military, or getting jobs in their field within six months.
Noemi appreciates Florida's wonderful climate and opportunities to create a business or grow in a career. She enjoys time on the water, fishing, and spending time with family. She married her high school sweetheart, and they have two children.
