Biography
Philip is an Urban Planner and Shareholder in Kimley-Horn’s Sarasota office, a national planning and engineering firm. He graduated from Arizona State University after attending the University of Florida and has completed graduate coursework at the University of Miami.
Raised in Southwest Florida and beginning his career in government, Philip brings a unique perspective and understanding of the issues facing the region and its ongoing urbanization. He is one of the region’s leading urban planners, representing many of the most prominent names in the industry and has been critically involved the approval of many of the City of Sarasota’s most iconic projects. Clients he represents include local governments, commercial and residential developers, cultural institutions and non-profits, and private landowners.
Philip has been recognized as one of Gulf Coast Business Observer's "40 Under 40", serves as a Board Member of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, Chairs the Argus Foundation's Issues Committee, and is former President of the Florida Planning and Zoning Association’s Gulfcoast Chapter.
