Biography
Noelle Branning has served as the elected Tax Collector for Lee County, Florida, since 2020. She leads the agency with a focus on operational excellence, customer service innovation, and data-driven decision-making. Statewide she serves the Florida Tax Collectors Association as the Resiliency Coalition Chair to foster collaboration among counties for emergency preparedness.
Committed to Southwest Florida, Noelle actively serves as Board Chair of the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools and leads the partnership with the Lee County Tax Collector’s Office for the Kids Tag Art Program, which supports elementary art education. She is also a longtime volunteer and leader with United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades Counties and served as Board President of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida, where she helped introduce therapy dogs in the courtroom.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Florida State University and a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University. She enjoys traveling with her husband, Robert, and their two children, and supporting their children’s lacrosse and volleyball games on weekends.
