Biography
Ron is Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives in the College of Business at UCF. His research, teaching and consulting expertise is in strategic planning, leadership development, organizational behavior, personality, motivation, and research methods. In 2021-22, Ron led the university's strategic planning process and served as Interim VP for Advancement. At Rollins College, he received the Cornell Distinguished Teaching Award (2015-2016) and the Cornell Distinguished Faculty Award (2011-2012). His co-authored textbook, Organizational Behavior, was recently published in its third edition.

Ron currently serves on the Board of Directors for 1858 Capital Partners. Past board membership includes BRIDG, the Heart of Florida United Way, Central Florida YMCA, Hispanic Chamber, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando, and Orlando Rep Theater. In 2017, he received the Don Quijote Hispanic Community Champion award from the Hispanic Chamber and Prospera. He earned a Ph.D. in management from UF, an MBA from Rollins, and a B.S. in mathematics from Stetson University.
