Biography
Shari Bower has worked for the Federal Reserve since 2004 helping to advance its public service mission. As the regional executive at the Atlanta Fed’s Miami branch, she leads the Bank’s public outreach and community affairs initiatives across south Florida. Her work with business leaders in the branch’s 13-county area brings real-time economic insights to monetary policy deliberations. She also oversees the branch's board of directors and advisory council.
Shari began her career at the New York Fed and joined the Atlanta Fed in 2020. She is a policy expert with a previous focus on payments and financial market infrastructure.
Shari serves on the boards of Junior Achievement of Greater Miami and the Center for Financial Training International. A native of Queens, New York, Shari earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations and anthropology from Tufts University and a master’s degree in public administration from New York University. She is married to a Miamian and spends her free time cheering at her daughters’ soccer games with their dog Daisy and practicing yoga to recover.
