Biography
Sheldon Dutes is Manager of Team Member Communications & Engagement for AdventHealth’s Central Florida division. He joined AdventHealth in 2025 after an award-winning 18-year career in broadcast news that took him to TV stations across the country, including WISN (Milwaukee), WNBC (New York City), WBAL (Baltimore), WCSC (Charleston), and WESH 2 News (Orlando).
Sheldon grew up in Orlando, graduated from Notre Dame, and earned his master’s degree in Corporate Communications from Marquette University. Since moving back home to Central Florida in 2020, Sheldon has held leadership positions on several local nonprofit boards/committees, including the Adult Literacy League and United Arts Central Florida. He also volunteers with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and was a Visionary of the Year candidate in 2024.
