Biography
Stacia is a passionate educational leader focused on cultivating a positive school culture and meaningful connections with the community. She has been a teacher, peer evaluator, district instructional coach and assistant principal. Her proudest achievement, next to being principal of Tavares Elementary School, was becoming an assistant principal at a turnaround school in 2019. She was named Florida Assistant Principal of the Year for 2022 for assisting in turning the school’s grade from an “F” to a “C.” She continues her unwavering commitment to improving student achievement and positive culture.
A graduate of USF’s College of Education, Stacia will earn her Ed.S. in leadership from the American College of Education in December 2024.
Stacia and her husband, Scott, share a love of nature conservation, dragon boating and long-distance paddling. They have one son, a sophomore in college, who is currently participating in the Disney College Program.
