Biography
Tal is a technologist with a passion for serving our nation and his local community. He has built software to tackle tough problems for the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Veterans Affairs. For the United States Air Force, he led software teams building warfighting capabilities for all branches of the military. In his spare time, he contributes his knowledge and experience to mentoring others in the defense industry.
He was inspired to run for local office after his success with political organizing. He organized residents to speak at county commission meetings to promote affordable housing for homeless veterans, preserving wetlands and protecting access to clean water. He volunteers with a number of organizations and engages in philanthropic work with his wife to support families in the foster care system. He mentors students through Take Stock in Children, serves the homeless with Salvation Army, and volunteers with Bradenton Kiwanis.
