Biography
Trent Phillips is a first-generation Floridian, born in Orlando to a mixed family with a mother who immigrated from the Philippines. He attended public school and earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida. After returning from teaching English in China, Trent began working in public policy through issue advocacy groups and later served several elected members of the legislature from Tampa Bay in Tallahassee.
Recently, Trent returned to Orlando to rejoin Consensus Communications, where he supports clients who contribute to the character of Florida, give back to their communities, and are passionate about using their standing to leave a positive impact.
In his spare time, he has volunteered as a mentor with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Big Bend (Tallahassee). He lives with his beloved three-year-old German Shepherd, Kenzie, who loves spending time in Florida's beautiful green spaces and beaches.
