Biography
Trina Medarev is the President & CEO of the World Affairs Council of Jacksonville. Under her direction, the Council has grown from a small organization sponsoring a modest speaker program, to a vital organization reaching thousands of individuals every year through several acclaimed speaker series, educational programming, special events and an expanding network of young professionals. Trina has been recognized as a Woman of Influence by the Jacksonville Business Journal and named the 2020 International Individual of the Year by the JAXUSA Partnership for support of international business growth in the Northeast Florida region. She has recently been selected as a member of Leadership Florida, joining Cornerstone Class 42.
With her passion for learning about the world and its people, Trina enjoyed leading the Israel: Land of Cultural Treasures Tour in March 2020 and a Classical Mediterranean Cruise exploring Malta, Tunisia and Sicily in May 2024 via the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia’s flagship Travel the World program. She is looking forward to leading a tour of Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea in July 2025.
She is mother to Steven and Katie (FSU classes of 2019 and 2022).
