AI in Florida: Policy & Practice

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the landscape of education – from classroom tools and instructional strategies to policy conversations shaping the future of learning across our state.

Leadership Florida invites all our Education Class graduates from across our statewide network to join us for a timely Education Gathering exploring how AI is being used in Florida’s education system and what leaders should know about the evolving policy environment.

This interactive virtual conversation will feature insights from experts working at the intersection of education, technology, and public policy, followed by small group discussions designed to spark meaningful dialogue among participants.

  • Dr. Israel will help level-set the conversation by explaining what we mean when we talk about AI in education, sharing insights from the Florida K-12 AI Education task force, and highlighting promising examples of how schools and districts across Florida are beginning to use AI in thoughtful and innovative ways.
