Event Details
NOVEMBER 9 DAY OF SERVICE EVENT DETAILS
Join Feeding Northeast Florida and lend a helping hand. Members will come together to volunteer their time and serve the community. Volunteers will be sorting dry goods, frozen products, or fresh produce and packaging it for distribution. Afterward, volunteers will weigh all of the sorted food and share with the group how many pounds of food was saved and how many meals it equaled.

Location Instructions
The entrance to the facility is located on 1st street. Turn onto 1st Street from Edgewood Avenue N and immediately turn right into the fenced warehouse complex.
Parking
Parking is located in the grass lot past the warehouses. The entrance to the warehouse is up on the dock behind the four white stationary tractor trailers
Reception Afterward
Following the event, the group will meet for happy hour at 4:00 p.m. on the rooftop of River and Post located at 1000 Riverside Avenue, Suite 900, Jacksonville
Volunteer waivers must be signed if you plan to participate
Water will be provided
The warehouse does not have heat or air conditioning so dress comfortably
