This is very likely the last chance to tour this submarine before it departs the United States for the foreseeable future. It rarely returns to U.S. ports, making this an exceptional, possibly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If you’re interested in joining the trip, the details are below.

Trip Overview: March 31 - April 1

• The trip begins in Tallahassee on Tuesday, March 31 and concludes on Wednesday, April 1.
• 1:00 PM ET departure from Tallahassee aboard a luxury 56-passenger motor coach bound for Jacksonville.
• Overnight stay at the Marriott Courtyard in Jacksonville.
• If it’s more convenient, you may meet the group directly in Jacksonville.
• That evening, the group will travel to Amelia Island for dinner with the submarine’s captain and senior officers.
• Early Wednesday morning, we will head to the Kings Bay Navy Base near St. Marys, Georgia.
• Participants will be divided into small groups for a comprehensive, top-to-bottom tour of the submarine.
• Afterward, enjoy lunch at the base galley.
• The day continues with a rarely granted tour of the Trident Training Center, home to numerous full-scale simulators replicating submarine systems. This is the second-largest military building in the U.S., second only to the Pentagon. In one simulator, when the command “Dive, dive, dive” is given, the entire room tilts.

Cost and Eligibility

The cost is $496 per person if traveling alone, or $412 per person if sharing a hotel room.

This includes:

• Round-trip motor coach transportation
• Hotel accommodations
• Dinner and lunch

Participants are welcome to invite family, friends, neighbors, clients, or colleagues, but space is limited to the first 20 respondents

All attendees must:

• Be U.S. citizens
• Be able to walk at least a half mile comfortably
• Be able to climb and descend steep stairwells
