Tallahassee Community College's Wakulla Environmental Institute (WEI) brings together education, conservation and recreation in a manner that stimulates economic development in an environmentally responsible way.  The institute is situated on a beautiful 158-acre campus in Wakulla County that features a sinkhole, wetlands and a natural bridge.  WEI offers environmentally-focused certificates and educational programs, including unmanned technology applications and the signature oyster aquaculture program.
Leadership Florida Northwest Region members and guests are invited to tour WEI to learn more about the critical role the institute plays in the region.
Activities include exploring the TCC campus, oyster shucking and a drone demonstration.
