Biography
Anthony (Tony) Abbate, is an alumnus of Leadership Florida Cornerstone Class XXXVII. He is a native of Fort Lauderdale, of Colombian and Sicilian heritage, a Professor of architecture and urban design, and a registered architect.
A long-time community leader, he is an active member of Rotary International and has served on numerous local, regional, state, and national boards and committees.
He speaks fluent Spanish and he loves to cook, as well as travel, with his wife Jaye. They have visited over 46 countries on 7 continents and have swum in 4 oceans.
