Biography


Juliet Murphy Roulhac is the Director for External Affairs for Broward and Southwest Florida and Corporate Philanthropy for Florida Power & Light Company, a Fortune 200 company which is the largest electric utility in the state, and one of the largest electric utility providers of clean energy in the country. Ms. Roulhac manages NextEra Energy’s national foundation and Florida Power & Light Company’s external Affairs in Broward and Southwest Florida – she develops giving and engagement strategies for FPL and NextEra and manages governmental relations and community engagement with elected officials and major stakeholders and develops regional strategies for FPL. She started with the company in 1999 and practiced in the General Counsel’s Department prior to External Affairs. She is a licensed attorney with over twenty-five years of complex business litigation and appellate experience.

Ms. Roulhac is very active and engaged in her community. She is the Chair of the Community Foundation of Broward, Co-Chair for the Prosperity Partnership, Secretary/Treasurer of the Friends of Manatee Lagoon, Secretary of The Links Incorporated - Ft. Lauderdale Chapter, Secretary of the Greater FT. Lauderdale Alliance Foundation, and serves on the Baptist Hospital BOH/BHE and NSU Medical Executive Leadership Council boards. She is a former Chair and current member of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance’s board.
Her past board service leadership roles include Immediate Past-Chair of the Broward Workshop, Past-Chair of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, Governor on the Florida Bar Board of Governors, and Past President of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division to name a few.

Ms. Roulhac holds both BA and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Florida, is a member of Florida Blue Key and served a 5-year term as a gubernatorial appointee on the university’s Board of Trustees.
