Biography
Lynne is a passionate advocate for equitable education, with over 17 years dedicated to ensuring high-quality learning for all students, particularly those in high-poverty communities. She laid the foundation for her impactful career by earning a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Florida International University, followed by a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University.
She began her journey in education as a middle school science educator, where she inspired young minds. Transitioning into administrative roles, serving as an assistant principal at both elementary and middle schools, significantly impacting her school communities. Currently, Lynne is the proud principal of Gulfstream Academy of Hallandale Beach K-8. In this role, she oversees two campuses, a student body of 1,260, and a dedicated staff of over 100.
Lynne's leadership is rooted in data-driven decision-making, using research-based, innovative approaches to help students reach their full potential. Her commitment to fostering environments with high expectations and robust support has led to notable improvements in academic outcomes. Outside of her professional life, Lynne is an avid traveler who loves exploring new destinations. She also enjoys reading and, most importantly, spending quality time with her family.
