Biography
As CEO of M. Johnston Consulting, Maria works with developers around the State of FL as the interface to all the dry utility companies that are involved with the construction projects.
She has 30+ years of experience working in the utility industry, which includes lobbying, legislation review, Infrastructure Design (Fiber) and Sales & Marketing. She holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Regis University and is a current participant of the Executive Education Program at the Harvard Business School. Maria is a former member of the Children's Diagnostic Treatment Center Board of Directors, the Executive Board of Leadership Broward, the Miami Dade College Foundation Board of Directors, the Executive Board of the Beacon Council, and has participated as an active member on many other non profit boards throughout her career. Maria currently serves as the Chair of the Legislative Committee at 211 Broward and is an active Board member.
