Biography
As a fifth-generation Floridian, saltiness is in Tom’s blood, with nearly his entire career centered around the oceans. As the CEO of Virgin Voyages, he led a world-class team in all elements of ship design, sailor experience, construction, crew, safety, and operations.
Tom was the founding member of the Virgin Voyages team. Prior to joining Virgin Voyages, he was president and CEO of The World, the world’s largest private yacht with 120 owners. He also served as a founding member of the Disney Cruise Line management team as vice president of finance, business development, and shore-side travel operations, and finally as its president. Before that, he was director of corporate planning and analysis at Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and a chief financial officer for CSB Leasing Group. He began his career with KPMG as a senior auditor.
Tom earned his B.S. in accounting and finance from FSU and his MBA from the University of Miami.
