Biography
Audie has been employed with the School District of Osceola County for over 23 years. He currently serves as the principal at Deerwood Elementary School in Kissimmee. Since being assigned to Deerwood, he changed the culture of the school and set high expectations for standards-based instruction. In his first year as acting principal at Deerwood, he led the school to increase 84 total points and improve the school grade from a low "D" to a "C."
Audie has a master's degree in educational leadership from Walden University and a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from the University of Central Florida. He has been a participant in the National Institute of School Leadership program and participated in the Strategic Leadership program at Harvard University Extension School.
Audie is engaged to his fiancée, Sarah, who is also an educator in Osceola County. He is dedicated to his students and to growing future educational leaders.
