About Us

Impact Florida is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that believes excellent classroom instruction can move the needle for all students. We focus on supporting education leaders and teachers with the knowledge and resources they need to ensure that great teaching and learning is consistently realized in all Florida schools.

To do this, Impact Florida has developed the Five Conditions that Support Great Teaching and created opportunities to better support knowledge sharing between school districts, implementation support, policy change, and advocacy for what matters through learning cadres called Districts for Impact, where participating districts can share what’s working and engage in cross-district problem-solving around a specific condition. Impact Florida also annually hosts an Education Summit for hundreds of senior education leaders throughout the state where it shares its learnings and the learnings from national experts related to the Five Conditions.

Impact Florida’s future District for Impact learning cadres will be focused around supporting select school districts to develop and implement comprehensive plans, aligned to the Five Conditions, to improve mathematics instruction.

Position Summary

The Deputy of Math Systems and Success will work closely with Impact Florida’s Director of Math Success on Districts for Impact Cadres, ensuring the development, implementation, and monitoring of high-quality, ambitious improvement plans by the districts.

As Impact Florida is a small and dynamic organization, a successful Deputy of Math Systems and Success will be entrepreneurial in their approach, bringing new ideas and strategies to meet ambitious goals, and will be self-directed and comfortable working in a rapidly evolving environment.
