A Message from Leadership Florida Board Chair Jim Gilmore
Hello Florida Leaders,

Fresh off the success of the 2019 Annual Meeting at Disney's Grand Floridian -- a record number of attendees, the most fantastic speaker slate ever, and tons of fun at Disney -- Leadership Florida continues with a wide variety of activities moving into the new program year.

The 2019-2020 Board of Directors and Leadership Team and have been announced (click HERE for the complete list) and will convene for the Summer Leadership Retreat August 23-24 in Crystal River. We are excited about the leadership these members will provide in shaping this season of programs and events - thank you for your support in advance.

This new 2019-2020 Leadership Team has a real advantage: the new three-year Strategic Plan has been published! It took months to formulate and review, and the product is the clearest reflection of how and why Leadership Florida continues to contribute to the health of our great state. Our mission statement moving forward is: "Leadership Florida is tasked with ensuring the organization can pursue its mission of convening a statewide community of committed leaders to enhance and recharge their leadership skills and to educate and inspire them to work across their strengths and diversities for a better Florida."  Florida's future has never looked brighter!

I am looking forward to a productive and enjoyable year working with and for the finest leaders in this state.

Best Regards,

Jim Gilmore
