Leadership Florida Presents Frank DiBello with the LeRoy Collins Lifetime Achievement Award

In 2023, Frank DiBello established SOLV, LLC, advising commercial space and technology companies in strategy and finance. For 15 years before that, DiBello served as CEO of Space Florida, an innovative, for-profit public corporation, established by the Florida Legislature to develop a world-leading aerospace industry in Florida. Under him, Space Florida financed over $3.5B of aerospace infrastructure making Florida the leader of U.S. space-related commerce, and a global powerhouse.

From 2002 to 2006, DiBello was President/CEO of the Florida Aerospace Finance Corporation, established by the Florida Legislature to assist financing the needs of companies applying aerospace technologies to space, aviation, and defense markets.

Before this, DiBello was a Partner at KPMG, managing the aerospace practice. Then he was a co-founder of the SpaceVest family of venture capital funds and of Aerospace Capital Partners, an infrastructure investment fund focusing on aerospace, technology, and telecommunications.

DiBello has served on advisory groups throughout federal and state government. He is a frequent industry speaker and has taught at both the Defense Systems Management College and the International Space University.
