David Chambers brings extensive experience as a leader of magnet and choice schools, including work in school design, to Governors Charter. Mr. Chambers leadership work throughout his career resulted in significant student achievement increases, school quality improvement and school performance recognition including leadership work at schools awarded the Goldman-Sachs Award for Excellence in International Education, the Magnet School of Excellence Award and Magnet School of Distinction Award. With over 25 years of experience as a teacher, dean, assistant principal and principal, he is known for bringing an unwavering focus on student achievement and building community at unique schools that specifically designed to prepare students for post-secondary education.
